At Atelier La Motte, it all begins with clay: unique ceramic creations, handcrafted in a style that blends local tradition with raw elegance.
IT ALL STARTS WITH THE SOIL
Set in the heart of a region with a long tradition of pottery-making, we prioritise local clays and materials. Hand-thrown, our ceramics combine the beauty of the raw clay – often left exposed – with our own semi-matt glazes.

Our ceramics also echo the history of La Motte: in the past, local potters would come to the estate to collect residues left over from metalworking to incorporate into their glazes. This link to the past gives our workshop even greater significance today.
THE LAUREL
The laurel is the hallmark of Atelier La Motte. A symbol of strength, excellence and achievement, it will accompany every generation born here.
